Mahi Atua is based on Waiheke Island, in Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf.  We have the privilege of being part of a stunningly beautiful landscape – an unfair advantage some may say!  

At Mahi Atua we aim to help clients make informed choices and integrate landscape design within this wonderful environment.

As gardens are constantly evolving we endeavour to maximize pleasure during all stages of development (evolution) of the design.

Hard landscaping (construction) is rewarding as it is static compared with the dynamic nature of soft landscaping (working with soil and plants).  The two can be used in a complementary style to create a unique and personal result.

Mahi Atua has a philosophy of creating enjoyable landscapes and designing access to all areas physically, visually or emotionally.

All work is supervised to ensure that standards are maintained and clients’ wishes are realised.
